PT Shell Indonesia, an Indonesian unit of Anglo-Dutch energy firm Royal Dutch/ Shell Plc has lowered the prices of its high octane gasolines Shell Super 92 and Shell Super Extra to Rp 6,800 (1US$ = Rp 12,200) and Rp 7,100 per liter, respectively from Rp 7,000 and Rp 7,500.
With the price cut, the price of Shell Super 92 is now equivalent with the price of Pertamina?s high octane gasoline Pertamax.
Shell Indonesia?s spokesman Wally Saleh said in Jakarta on Monday that the price cut was made as an adjustment to the fall in the crude oil prices in the international markets in recent weeks.
