Shell cuts gasoline prices

PT Shell Indonesia, an Indonesian unit of Anglo-Dutch energy firm Royal Dutch/ Shell Plc, has cut the prices of its fuels in line with the downward trend of international crude prices.
Effective Oct. 1, Shell's gas stations sells Shell Super 92 at Rp 6,200 per liter (1US$ = Rp 9,625), down from 6,400 per liter previously. The price of Shell Super Extra 95 is slashed to Rp 7,000 per liter from 7,400 per liter and Shell Diesel is down to Rp 7,200 from Rp 7,300 per liter, Fathia Syarif, the company?s media communication manager, said.
State oil, gas firm PT Pertamina also slashed the prices of its high-octane gasoline, Pertamax, Pertamax Plus and Bio-Pertamax, starting Oct 1. (*)
