PT Shell Indonesia, an Indonesian unit of Anglo-Dutch energy firm Royal Dutch/ Shell Plc, has lowered prices for high-octane gasoline following the drop in crude oil prices in the international market.

Beginning Nov. 1, Shell sells its Shell Super gasoline at Rp 7,000 per liter (1US$=10,800), down from Rp 7,950 per liter, while its Shell Super Extra and Shell Diesel are sold at Rp 7,400 and Rp 8,500 per liter, down from Rp 8,300 and Rp 9,100 per liter , respectively.

The company said in a statement that the price adjustment was made thanks to the drop in the regional fuel prices as indicated in the fall in the price index under Means of Platts Singapore.

Currently, Shell has 23 gas stations in Jakarta-Bogor-Depok-Tangerang-Bekasi area. (godang)
