Shell raises gasoline prices

PT Shell Indonesia, an Indonesian unit of Anglo-Dutch energy firm Royal Dutch/ Shell Plc, has raised the prices of its high octane gasolines Shell Super 92 and Shell Super Extra to Rp 5,800 (1US$ = Rp 10,190) and Rp 6,600 per liter, respectively from Rp 5,500 and Rp 6,500 per liter.
The price of Shell Diesel is also increased to Rp 7,000 per liter from Rp 6,900 per liter previously.
Shell Indonesia?s spokesman Fathia Syarif said in Jakarta on Tuesday that the price cut is starting Tuesday night and it was made as an adjustment to the fall in the crude oil prices in the international markets in recent weeks.
Shell has 26 gas stations in Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Jadebotabek). (*)
