Shell shuts down gas stations on technical fault

Anglo-Dutch energy giant Royal Dutch/Shell said on Wednesday that it had temporarily shut down four of its gas stations in greater Jakarta area due to technical fault in underground tanks.
Shell Indonesia spokesperson Fathia Syarif the shut down started on Wednesday. She did not say when the stations would be re-opened. ?Investigation is underway,? she said.
The four gas stations are in Cikokol and Serpong, both are in Tangerang regency, Banten, Cibubur, East Jakarta and Antasari in South Jakarta.
Shell operates 18 gas stations in greater Jakarta area. (godang)
