Shell to invest $100m to build lube plant

Anglo-Dutch energy giant Royal Dutch/Shell will invest up to US$100 million to build lubricant oil plant in Indonesia with capacity of 100,000 tons per year.?

Lube oil production from the plant, which location in undisclosed, would be sold to domestic and export market such as India, China and Vietnam, Shell Indonesia President Director Darwin Silalahi was quoted by Detik.com as saying.

According to the report, the plant will start operations in 2013-14. (*)
