Shijiazhuang-CIMC-ETI consortium wins CNG Lombok contract

State owned electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) has named the consortium of Shijiazhuang Enric Gas Equipment Co., Ltd, China International Marine Containers Ltd. (CIMC) and Enviromate Technology International (ETI) as the winner of the contract to develop a CNG marine project in Lombok.

PLN expects to sign the contract with the consortium at the end of this month, PLN?s Gas and Fuel Division Head Suryadi Mardjeoki told Petromindo.com

The CNG marine project will include the construction and operation of a CNG marine carrier, and the loading & discharging facilities. The CNG vessel will transport gas from Terang Sirasun gas field in East Java to PLN?s 100 MW gas-fired power plant in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.

?ETI is the company that built CNG plants in the Grati, Tambak Lorok and Muara Tawar power plants,? Suryadi explained.

The consortium outbid DKB (Hyosung Corporation), PT Seamless Pipe Indonesia Jaya, and Marubeni.
