Siemens Gamesa to supply turbines for Jeneponto, Sidrap wind power plants

PT Siemens Gamesa will supply turbines for Jeneponto and Sidrap wind power plants (PLTB) in South Sulawesi which are currently under construction and are expected to be completed next year.
This was said by Mart Huismans, Technical Sales Manager, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Wind Power to Petromindo.com on Friday.
He said that the company will supply 21 turbines for the 65 MW PLTB Jeneponto, each with capacity scale of 3-3.5 MW; and 30 turbines for the 75 MW PLTB Sidrap, each with scale of 2.5 MW.
He said that the company has already started shipment of some of the turbines. He added that the company has also been engaged in communications with state-owned electricity firm PT PLN for future cooperation.
