Sigmagold to complete acquisition of new gold mine in 2017

IDX-listed PT Sigmagold Inti Perkasa Tbk hopes to be able to acquire a new gold mine in West Sumatra in the first quarter of 2017, Kontan reported on Friday.
The paper quoted Sigmagold President Director Adriano Wolfgang Pietruschka as saying that the transaction is worth about US$3 million. ?The acquisition process has been started and in the first quarter of next year is expected to be completed,? he told the paper, but did not provide further details.
Elsewhere, Adriano said that that its old mine in Pasaman, West Sumatra, acquired two years ago as part of diversification strategy, is expected to start production in 2017 with production rate of 200-300 grams per day.
Sigmagold is formerly known as PT Agis, engaged in electronics trading sector. (*)
