Sillo expects FSO vessel to resume operation soon

IDX-listed shipping firm PT Sillo Maritime Perdana Tbk said that its 114 floating storage & offloading (FSO) vessel will resume operation in December of this year or early next year following completion of repair and maintenance.
Sillo Corporate Secretary Chella Iskandar was quoted by Kontan as saying Friday that the FSO vessel has been contracted to China National Offshore Corporation until 2023.
The vessel underwent repair and maintenance work after completing previous 10-year contract.
The FSO vessel is a key revenue contributor for Sillo, which also operates several other type of vessels including tug boats, crew vessels and utility vessel. The company has recently signed a three-year contract for its utility vessel with PetroChina International Jabung Ltd for use in the latter?s Muara Sabak operational area in Jambi province. (*)
