SILO seeks partner for S. Kalimantan smelter project

Iron ore mining company PT Sebuku Iron Lateritic Ores (SILO) is seeking an investing partner willing to build a 300 MW power plant on the Sebuku Island, Kota Baru Regency, South Kalimantan, to supply electricity for a planned smelter.
SILO Operational Director, Henry Yulianto was quoted as saying that the investor could be government or private.
Sebuku is planning to develop a second smelter worth about US$300-350 million. (*)
