Singapore?s ASL commence coal shipment from E. Kalimantan concession

Singapore shipping firm ASL Marine Holdings said its mining unit has commenced coal shipment from its Tabang coal mine in East Kalimantan in July.
The company did not give detail about the volume but saying that it would ?need sometime to reach peak production?.
Earlier report said Tabang coal concession has at least 50 million tons of coal reserves and could double through further exploration.
ASL?s subsidiary ASL Energy has 50.2% interest in Pan Assets International Limited, which owns the exclusive rights to conduct all mining and marketing of coal for the Tabang Coal Concession. (alex)
