Sinohydro to build hydro power plant in S. Sulawesi

China?s Sinohydro Corp Ltd plans to build a 2x100 MW hydro power plant in Enrekang Regency, South Sulawesi, Antara reported on Wednesday.
?The project will be started in 2017, and completed within 4-5 years,? said Enrekang Regent Muslimin Bando, following a meeting with Sinohydro officials and provincial Governor Syahrul Yasin Limpo last week.
The planned power plant project would require about 2,500 hectares of land with estimated investment of about Rp 5 trillion, Antara said. (*)
