Sinosteel buys 1.5MT of coking coal from Indonesia

Chinese steel firm Sinosteel Shanghai Co., Ltd through it Indonesia unit PT Sinosteel Indonesia has imported around 1.5 million tonnes (MT) of coking coal per year from Indonesia, the company?s official told Petromindo.Com
The official said that around 1 million tonnes of coking coal they bought from Tanito Group and another 500,000 tonnes from East Kalimantan coal miner PT Kartika Selabumi Mining (KSM).
Sinosteel is still searching for more coking coal from other Indonesia miners, the official said without giving further details. (denny)
