Sintra gets order from PLN to supply transformers

PT Sintra Electric Power said that it has received an order from state-owned electricity firm PT PLN to supply 11 units of high-voltage power transformer with a capacity of 60 MVA this year.
"Our plant which produces high voltage power transformers 150kV/20kv has obtained request from PLN for the supply of 11 units of 60 MVA power transformer in 2017,? President Director of Sintra Yohanes Purnawan Widjaja told Petromindo.com on Thursday.
The transformer production plant in Cikarang, West Java, started maiden production of the power equipment last year.
The firm invested US$20 million to develop the plant, he said, adding Sintra has been established to meet the market demand amid rapid development of infrastructures and energy.
