PT Sintra Electric Power is planning to deliver one unit of power transformer with a capacity of 5 MVA to a customer in the Philippines this year, according to a top official of the firm.
?We?ll only send one unit of power transformer with a capacity of 5 MVA and voltage of 69kV/6.6kV to (a customer in) the Philippines this year,? President Director of Sintra Yohanes Purnawan Widjaja told Petromindo.com Friday.
For domestic market, Purnawan said earlier that his company, which produces high voltage power transformers 150kV/20kv, has obtained request from state-owned electricity firm PT PLN for the supply of 11 units of 60 MVA power transformer in 2017.
The company?s transformer production plant in Cikarang, West Java, started maiden production of the power equipment last year. The firm invested US$20 million to develop the plant, he said.
