Six firms named to carry out geothermal preliminary survey

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) Jero Wacik has issued decrees appointing six companies to carry out geothermal preliminary survey for a 12-month period.
According to the copy of the decrees obtained on Monday, the names of the six companies are as follows.
MEMR Decree No 2902K/30/MEM/2013 names PT Hitay Green Energy to carry out geothermal prelimary survey in Talamau mountain area, spanning West Pasaman Regency, and Pasaman Regency, in West Sumatra, covering an area of 25,290 ha.
PT Hitay Renewable Energy (Decree No 2903K/30/MEM/2013) in the Bromo-Tengger mountain area, stretching four regencies in East Java including Pasuruan, Probolinggo, Lumajang, and Malang, and the Malang Mayoralty, coveing an area of 199,200 ha.
PT Hitay Lawang Energy (Decree No 2904K/30/MEM/2013) in Lawang, Lawang Regency, South Sumatra, covering an area of 35,810 ha.
PT Hitay Balai Kaba Energy (Decree No 2905K/30/MEM/2013) in Tandikat and Singgalang mountain area, stretching Tanah Datar Regency, Agam Regency, and Padang Panjang city in West Sumatra, covering an area of 12,850 ha.
PT Hitay Tanjungsakti Energy (Decree No 2906K/30/MEM/2013) in Tanjungsakti area, spanning Empat Alam and Lahat Regencies, and Pagaralam City in South Sumatra, and South Bengkulu and Seluma Regencies in Bengkulu, covering a total area of 125,700 ha.
And finally, PT Hitay Dingin Energy (Decree No 2907K/30/MEM/2013) in Dingin Mountain area in Seluma Regency, Bengkulu, covering an area of 12,320 ha.
