Six wells to be drilled at Seruway block

Calgary-based oil and gas firm GFI Oil & Gas Corporation said on Tuesday that six development wells would be drilled Gurame field in Seruway PSC, offshore North Sumatra in the second half of 2007.
The company said that the block?s operator Transworld Exploration Limited has completed 100 square kilometer 3-D seismic program to delineate the location of the next development well for the Gurame Field in February and would complete data processing by April 2007.
Seruway PSC contains Gurame field with estimated gas recoverable reserves of between 400BCF to 2.7TCF and 20-150 MMBO of condensate. The field was discovered and delineated between 1967-1972 when there was no regional market for gas and is located 50-km from Arun LNG plant.
GFI has 22.5 percent interest in Seruway PSC.(alex)
