SKK Migas allocates 41 LNG cargoes from Tangguh for overseas buyers

Upstream authority SKK Migas has allocated 41 LNG cargoes from the Tangguh LNG plant in West Papua for three buyers from three different countries for the period of 2017-2019.
A source told Petromnido.com on Monday that the allocated LNG cargoes are waiting for approval from Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Ignasius Jonan.
The source said that the three overseas buyers are Itochu Petroleum (Singapore) Pte.Ltd, Japan?s Marubeni Corp, and Australia?s Origin Energy.
The source said that Itochu has been allocated two cargoes for delivery in 2017, and six cargoes for delivery in 2018; while Origin has been allocated two cargoes for delivery in 2017, four cargoes for delivery in 2018, and another four for delivery in 2019. Marubeni has been allocated seven cargoes for delivery in 2017, six cargoes in 2018, and 10 cargoes in 2019.
Head of LNG Marketing Division at SKK Migas, Sampe Purba told Petromnindo.com there has been demand for LNG cargoes for the period of 2017-2019, but the requests are still ?being finalized.?
