Upstream oil and gas authority SKK Migas has integrated its internal business processes in procurement and asset management, finance, and personnel by implementing so-called enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.

Acting Chairman of SKK Migas J. Widjonarko said the implementation of the ERP system would help improve efficiency and transparency at the institution. ?Integration of this system makes the performance of institution to be more fast, precise, effective, and efficient,? he added.

Going forward, he hoped the ERP will be integrated with the various field data of production sharing contractors (PSCs) such as production data, planning, asset management, commercial, production allocation, maintenance activities, and field reports. "The integration of these data is expected to further facilitate decision makers and improve the transparency of the management of upstream business activities,? said Widjonarko.
