SKK Migas approves POD of Mahakam block fields

Upstream oil and gas authority SKK Migas has approved plans of development (POD) of a number of fields in Mahakam block, East Kalimantan Province.

This was said by Benny Lubiantara, Head of Technology and Field Development Division at SKK Migas on Wednesday to Petromindo.com.

POD of Tunu Shallow Phase 4 aims to develop gas reserves of 138 bcf. The project is targeted to be on stream in 2018 with peak production rate of 135 mmscfd.

POD South Mahakam Phase 4 aims to develop gas reserves of 91 bcf, and 3 mmstb (million barrels) of condensates. The project is targeted to be on stream in 2018 with peak gas production rate of 74 mmscfd, and condensate production rate of 2,400 bopd.

POD Tambora Phase 5 aims to develop gas reserves of 18 bcf and condensates of 518 mstb (thousand barrels). The project is targeted to be on stream in 2018 with peak gas production rate of 15 mmscfd, and condensates of 450 bopd.
