SKK Migas approves PoDs for Parit Minyak and Tutung projects

Upstream authority SKK Migas has approved the Plans of Development (PoDs) for Parit Minyak project in Kisaran PSC onshore North Sumatra and the Tutung project in Bontang PSC, East Kalimantan.

This was said by SKK Migas? Development Control Gunawan Sutadiwiria told Petromindo.com.

He said the PoDs have been forwarded to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources for approval.

Meanwhile, Djoko Siswanto, Director of Upstream Oversight at the Directorate General of Oil and Gas said the ministry has in principle accepted the PoDs. It is now waiting for confirmation from the Directorate General of Taxation at the Ministry of Finance regarding aspects related to tax calculation.

Kisaran PSC is operated by Pacific Oil & Gas (Kisaran) Ltd. (POG) with a 55 percent interest. It is partnered with Bukit Energy (22.5 percent) and New Zealand Oil and Gas Ltd (22.5 percent).

Bontang PSC is operated by Salamander Energy (Bontang) Compant Ltd with 90 percent interest. Its partner is Borneo Oil Indonesia Ltd (10 percent).
