SKK Migas approves Sugih?s PoD on Lemang block

Upstream authority has approved the Plan of Development (PoD) for the Akatara field of the Lemang block in Riau operated by SGX-listed oil and gas firm Ramba Energy Limited.

SKK Migas? chief spokesman Elan Biantoro said after getting approval from SKK Migas, the PoD was submitted to the minister of energy and mineral resources for final approval last month.

Based on volumetric study conducted by international petroleum expert De Golyer & Mac Naughton (D & M), the Lemang Blocks has an estimated 511 million barrels of oil and 467 cubic feet of gas (gross recoverable prospective resources), according to IDX-listed Sugih Energy Tbk, a partner in the block.

Sugih Energy 49% participating interest for Lemang Block through its subsidiary Eastwin Global Investment Ltd., while SGX-listed Ramba Energy Limited, through its local subsidiary Hexindo Gemilang Jaya, holds a 51 percent working interest in the Lemang block as the operator.
