SKK Migas approves West Kerendan-1 well PoP plan

UK-based Ophir Energy plc announced Thursday the upstream oil and gas authority SKK Migas has recently approved the Put on Production (POP) plan of the West Kerendan-1 well in Bangkanai PSC, Central Kalimantan.
?This is a critical step to enabling Ophir to monetize an additional 50 Bcf of gas in the Kerendan area which is expected to add circa 7 MMscfd to the production profile from 2019,? Ophir said in a statement.
Ophir Indonesia (Bangkanai) Ltd holds a 70 percent operating interest in the Bangkanai PSC, and PT Saka Energi Bangkanai Klemantan holds the remaining 30 percent interest.
