SKK Migas asks Pertamina to reactivate projects on borderlines

Upstream authority SKK Migas has asked state oil and gas company PT Pertamina to reactivate oil and gas projects located on the borderlines with neighboring countries.

"There are a number of proejcts on the borderlines. I'll ask Pertamina to reactivate them," said Rudi Rubiandini, SKK Migas Chairman, during a fast breaking get-together with the press on Tuesday in Jakarta.

Rudi said that his institution will coordinate with the Defense Ministry in taking necessary steps to secure these projects. He did not elaborate any further.

The working areas located on the borderlines are:
Ambalat - Eni
South Ambalat - Chevron
Anambas - AWE
Arafura Sea - Cononophilips
Cakalang - Lundin Petroleum
East Seruay - Krisenergi
Kerapu - Pear Oil
North East Natuna - Titan
Tuna Sajah - Premier Oil
Gurita - Lundin Petroleum
Sebatik - Star Energi
South East Palung Aru - CNOOC
North Sokang - North Sokang Energi
Sokang - Black Platinum
