SKK Migas? chairman installs hundreds of new officials

Upstream authority SKK Migas? Chairman Rudi Rubiandini installed on Tuesday hundreds of mid-level executives of the agency, calling on them to work hard to help raise the national oil production.

Rudi installed a total of 191 new officials to lead dinas (section) and sub-dinas (sub-section) at the agency. Dinas is a position below division.

Besides, there were 73 section and sub-section heads who were transferred to new positions of the same level, SKK Migas said in a press release.

?As such, there are a total of 264 officials who occupy the positions of section and sub-section heads,? the agency further said.

During the installment ceremony, the agency further said, Rudi reminded the officials to immediately work to meet the short, mid, and long-term targets set by the government for the agency.

On the short term, SKK Migas has to meet the production targets set by the government for 2013 and 2014. On the mid-term, SKK Migas is targeted to reach the oil production mark of 1 million barrels per day with an average oil production of 900,000 barrels per day and to raise the average production to 1 million barrels per day on the following year. On the long term, SKK Migas is targeted to raise oil production through the Improved Oil Recovery (IOR) program.
