SKK Migas, ConocoPhillips sign cooperation agreement with Police

Upstream authority SKK Migas, ConocoPhillips (Grissik) signed on September 23 a cooperation agreement with the South Sumatra Police on special security for the Corridor block located in the province.

SKK Migas said in a statement that the block is considered national vital object, and therefore requires an integrated security involving all stakeholders including the police.

The regulator said that the security cooperation agreement is valid for two years from October 1, 2016 until November 30, 2018.

The Corridor block is 54 percent owned by ConocoPhillips, and the remaining shares are held by Talisman (36 percent) and PHE (10 percent).
