The Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) has given the ?unreasonable? audit opinion for the 2015 financial report of the upstream oil and gas authority SKK Migas.
BPK Chairman Harry Azhar Azis said on Tuesday that there are a number of reasons why SKK Migas got poor accountability audit grade for the 2015 financial report. The agency four years ago obtained the best audit opinion level of ?reasonable without exceptions? (or also known as WTP).
In its audit, BPK employs the terms ?unreasonable?, ?disclaimer?, ?reasonable with exceptions? and ?reasonable without exceptions? (WTP). The worst level of accountability is '?unreasonable? and the best is WTP.
Among of the reasons for the poor accountability level of SKK Migas 2015 financial report, Harry pointed out on spending totaling Rp 1.02 trillion which was not approved by the Ministry Finance, and abandonment and site restoration (ASR) funds of eight oil and gas contractors worth Rp 72.3 billion which have yet to be reported although the ASR obligation of the contractors have been arranged under the production sharing contract.
