SKK Migas hopes Total to be successful in Telen, Mentawai blocks

Upstream authority SKK Migas hopes that Total EP Indonesie would be successful in carrying out exploration work at the Telen Block in North Sulawesi, and Mentawai Block in West Sumatra.
The two blocks, fully owned and operated by Total EP Indonesie, are located in the deep sea. In addition, the Mentawai Block is located within earthquake zone. ?Hopefully, Total could be successful at the Telen and Mentawai blocks,? SKK Migas Chairman Rudi Rubiandini told Petromindo.com.
Executive Vice President for East Kalimantan District at Total EP Indonesie, Hardy Pramono said that the company plans to start drilling work at the Telen and Mentawai blocks in 2014.
