SKK Migas, INSA sign MoU

Upstream authority SKK Migas, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Indonesian Ship Owners Association (INSA) to ?optimize? the use of Indonesia-flagged vessels in oil and gas operations in the country as part of the implementation of the cabotage policy.

Head of Operational Support Division at SKK Migas, Iwan Ratman said that his office has continued to push oil and gas contractors in the country to use Indonesia-flagged vessels in their operations.

?This is part of our commitment to empower the domestic shipping industry,? said Iwan, who co-signed the MoU with INSA Chairwoman Carmelita Hartoto on Wednesday.
