Priharsa Nugraha, a spokesman at KPK, told the media that Widjonarko was questioned as a witness in the graft case.
The local media said the questioning was focused on a suspected bribe amounting to S$600,000 handed over to Rudi by a person who knew Widjonarko. According the document received by Antara news agency, the money was given by an unidentified man ?who looks like a Chinese? to Rudi through Deviardi, a golf trainer. The ?Chinese-looking? man was introduced to Deviardi by Widjonarko at his office.
Deviardi was among the people who were captured by KPK in August this year related to the graft case. Deviardi was accused of serving as a courier who handed over bribes amounting to US$400,000 from Simon Gunawan Tanjaya, a commissioner at Singapore?s oil trader PT Kernel Oil Private Limited. (*)
