SKK Migas, law ministry sign MoU

Upstream oil and gas authority SKK Migas signed on Wednesday a MoU with the Directorate General of General Law Administration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights that would provide the former with access to data of top officials, commissioners and shareholders of upstream companies and their vendors.

SKK Migas Chairman Amien Sunaryadi told Petromindo.com that the data access is needed by the upstream authority to ?verify? the companies when participating in upstream related tender programs.

?If the verification process outcome is negative, then the companies will not be allowed to participate in the tender,? Amien said, but did not provide further details.
