SKK Migas: PHE, Krakatau to conclude gas sales deal before end 2013

Negotiation between PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) and steel maker PT Krakatau Steel for the supply of gas from the PHE-operated Offshore North West Java (ONWJ) block to the latter company is expected to be finally concluded before the end of this year.
This was said by Deputy for Commercialization at upstream authority SKK Migas, Widhyawan Prawiraatmadja to Petromindo.com Friday. He did not provide further details.
PHE, as requested by the government, is planning to supply 10 bbtud of gas to Krakatau Steel under a three-year contract. The two companies have been engaged in protracted negotiation process over the price of the gas since last year.
