SKK Migas proposes Genting drill another well

Upstream authority SKK Migas has proposed that Genting Oil Kasuri Pte. Ltd. (GOKPL), a subsidiary of Malaysian firm Genting Oil Bhd., drill another exploration well in Kasuri PSC in West Papua.

"The discussion is not final yet, because Genting still wants to complete the study. However, our team sees that it would be great if the company drills another exploration well in the block," SKK Migas' Head Amien Sunaryadi said in Jakarta.

Deputy of Planning Control at SKK Migas Gunawan Sutadiwirja added the SKK Migas' proposal aims to obtain a greater coverage of reserve there.
