SKK Migas reprimands five production sharing contractors

Upstream authority SKK Migas has reprimanded five production sharing contractors for undeveloped ?sleeping? working areas.

The regulator is awaiting for the contractors to wake from their sleep so that they can quickly start making activities in the working areas, according to Spokesman Hadi Prasetyo.

He told Petromindo.com Wednesday that the five production sharing contractors include Sigma Energy Petrogas, which holds the Enrekang working area (since March 21, 2007), PT Insani Bina Perkasa, which manages the Alas Jati area (August 9, 2007), PT Harpindo Mitra Kharisma, which owns the Lampung 3 area (May 5, 2009), Sarmi Papua Asia Oil Ltd (Northern Papua; May 5, 2009), and PT Brilliance Energy (Sula 1, November 30, 2009)

He did not provide details.
