SKK Migas signs 7 new oil and gas contracts

Upstream authority SKK Migas signed on Wednesday six oil and gas production sharing contracts (PSCs) resulting from regular and direct offer tenders held in 2012 and 2013.
In a signing ceremony witnessed by Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Jero Wacik, SKK Migas also signed PSC for the Alas Dara Kemuning working area, located in Blora, Central Java, with PT Pertamina EP Cepu ADK (PEPC ADK), a subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina.
The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources said in a statement that exploration investment commitment of the six PSCs totaled US$108.185 million, while signature bonus to be directly received by the government is $8 million.
For the Alas Dara Kemuning area, which is estimated to hold 12.5 MMBO of crude and 25 BSCF of gas resources, the total investment commitment is $15 million, plus a signature bonus of $1 million.
