SKK Migas summons 13 oil, gas and CBM contractors

Upstream authority SKK Migas Monday issued a second letter to summon 13 oil, gas and CBM contractors which have failed to meet exploration obligation.

SKK Migas said in the letter that the oil, gas and CBM contractors within 14 days must meet with SKK Migas? division overseeing the realization of commitments of the field development plan.

The regulator summoned 15 oil, gas and CBM contractors in the first letter dated May 18, but only two showed up, to discuss progress in fulfilling their exploration obligations as set out in the production sharing contract. The two companies are PT Insan Bina Perkasa (the holder of Alas Jati block) and the consortium of Bumi Perdana Energy Ltd.-Glory Walth Pacific LTd (the holder of Batang Asin CBM block).

Following is the list of the 13 oil, gas and CBM contractors.
