SKK Migas wants FID for IDD project by September

Upstream authority SKK Migas expects Chevron Indonesia to give clarity as soon as possible for the final investment decision (FID) of its Indonesia Deepwater Development (IDD) project.

Deputy of Commercial Control Widhyawan Prawiraatmadja said an FID will form the basis of sales purchase agreement (SPA) with potential buyers.

"FID will have a great impact on SPA and become Chevron's firm commitment to buyers," Widhyawan told petromindo.com.

"I expect Chevron to give us certainty over FID by next September."
