SKK Migas wants to cut number of deputies

Upstream authority SKK Migas is seeking approval from the government on the proposal to cut deputy positions as part of the organizational restructuring of the agency, according to sources.

Under the proposal to the SKK Migas Supervisory Committee from SKK Migas? Chairman Amin Sunaryadi, the number of deputies will be cut to five including one deputy chairman. At present, the agency has six deputies, including to one deputy chairman.

The five deputies under the proposed structure are deputy chairman, planning deputy, operation deputy, general affairs deputy and finance deputy. At present, SKK Migas has one deputy chairman, planning deputy, operation deputy, commercial deputy, business support deputy and finance deputy.

The source said SKK Migas is also proposing several names to fill in the deputy positions in the new structure. The names are Agus Sapto Raharjo, Arief Riyanto, Bernadus S. Wahyu, Nugraheni, Parulian Sihotang. The source however did not specify who will fill in what position.

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sudirman Said, who is also the chairman of SKK Migas Supervisory Committee said the committee has yet to gather to discuss the new structure of SKK Migas.

?We are looking for a good time to meet on SKK?s new organizational structure,? he said.

The committee includes Vice Minister of Finance Mardiasmo as deputy chairman.
