SKSP Migas sees LNG export in 2013 to reach 274 cargoes

SKSP Migas, the caretaker upstream oil and gas regulator, said that Indonesia?s LNG export in 2013 is targeted to reach 274 cargoes, most of which will go to the currently already established markets.
?The LNG potential markets in 2013 include Fujian (China), Kogas, POSCO, and SK E&S (South Korea), Sempra (US), and Tohuku, Tepco, and Kansai (Japan),? said SKSP Migas Spokesman Hadi Prasetyo to Petromindo.com Thursday.
Hadi further said that LNG lifting in 2013 is projected to reach 306 cargoes, of whcih 274 for export, and 32 for the domestic market. This compared to 332 cargoes in 2012, of which 318 went to the export market, and 14 for the domestic market. Meanwhile, lifting in 2011 was 372 cargoes, entirely for the export market.
The lower LNG production next year is mainly due to declining gas production at the Mahakam Block.
