SMR Utama wins new contracts from Berau Coal

IDX-listed PT SMR Utama Tbk said it has obtained new coal mining services and equipment rental contracts from IDX-listed coal mining firm PT Berau Coal Energy Tbk.
SMR said in a statement that the contracts were signed on October 17.
The company said that the contracts include coal transport contract, valid from May 2, 2016 until December 31, 2019, under which SMR will among others transport coal from Berau?s Binungan mine operation to the ROM stockyard and maintain the in pit coal road.
The second contract is for overburden removal at the Binungan mine, valid from May 2, 2016 until December 31, 2019. The third contract is for heavy equipment rental, which is also valid from May 2 until December 31, 2019.
