Snowden, Britmindo signs cooperation agreement

Australian mining consulting firm Snowden and Indonesian mining services firm PT Britmindo have signed an MoU, leading to a cooperation agreement to provide various mining services for clients particularly in Southeast Asia and Australia.

"In terms of the agreement, Snowden and Britmindo will combine their expertise to provide a complete range of competencies for the development of coal, metals and minerals projects from grassroots to production, operational efficiencies using proven software solutions and professional development programs for mining and geology graduates", said George McCullough, GM - Marketing and Innovation for Snowden in a statement obtained Tuesday.

The company further explained that initially the scope of the agreement will be Southeast Asia and Australia with the focus on providing a complete range of mining services including:
- The determination of resources and reserves to JORC, KCMI, NI431 or other international codes
- Mine valuations using Valmin or other relevant codes
- Technical Due Diligence and Bankable Feasibility Studies
- Mine operational efficiencies for both owners and contractors
- Professional development and training of geologists and mining engineers
- Evaluation and production of all mined commodities, using any suitable systems and techniques.
