Soetikno stays at helm as PGN reshuffles management

The shareholders of state owned gas distribution and transmission company PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) decided on Thursday to reshuffle the company’s management but maintained Soetikno as president director.

           

Joko Pramono, who had been director of finance prior to the general shareholders meeting on Thursday, was appointed as director of general affairs. He was replaced by Hendi P Santoso, a former director at investment bank JP Morgan.

           

Adil Abbas, who resigned due to age, was replaced as director of development by either Michael Baskoro or Banyu Doyo, who were both directors of PGN’s subsidiary PT Trans Gas Indo. The position of director of entrepreneurship, which remains vacant, will be filled in by either of them.

           

The new board of management and commissioners would soon hold a meeting to decide who will become director of development and director of entrepreneurship, Roes Aryawijaya, Deputy State Minister of Enterprises for Mining, Oil and Gas, Strategic and Telecommunications Companies, said.

           

The company’s shareholders also agreed to appoint Tengku N Mahmud as President Commissioner and Ilyas Saad, Pudja Sunasa, Ki Agus Ahmad Badaruddin as commissioners and Nenny Miryani Saptadji as independent commissioner.

           

The shareholders meeting also agreed to pay 50 percent of last year’s net profit as dividends. The company will pay Rp 946 billion or 208 per share. (Godang)
