Sofyan Baasir is new PLN boss

Minister of State Enterprises Rini Soemarno announced on Tuesday that Sofyan Baasir, President Director of state owned Bank Rakyat Indonesia, has been appointed as the new president director of state owned electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) replacing Nur Pamudji.
?The government has decided to reshuffle PLN?s Board of Directors. The reshuffle is expected to inject a new spirit into PLN so that the firm will be able to improve its performance to meet the national electricity needs more efficiently,? Rini told reporters.
Rini also announced the lineup of PLN?s board of directors and commisioners for the tenure period of 2014-2019, as follows:

3. Director : Nicke Widiastuti
4. Director : Murtaqi Syamsuddin
5. Director : Supangat Iwan Santoso
6. Director : Amin Subekti
7. Director : Nasri Sebayang
8. Director : Amir Rosidin

1. Chairman : Chandra M Hamzah
2. Commissioner : Budiman
3. Commissioner : Hasan Bisri.
