Mining contractor firm PT Solid Black Gold produces 70,000 tons per month of coal, from its mining unit PT Victor Dua Tiga Mega in Luwe Hulu, Lahei sub-district, North Barito Regency, Central Kalimantan, an industry source told Petromindo.Com.

The volume is the same as last year?s monthly output, the source said. The coal is entirely sold under a long-term deal with Japanese buyer, the source said, without giving the buyer?s name.

The mine has hauling road of only 15 km to jetty river from where the coal goes to intermediate stockpile in Buntok area waiting for further loading to ships at Taboneo anchorage, offshore South Kalimantan.
