Norwegian contractor Solstad Offshore ASA (SOFF) announced it has entered into a contract with PT Saipem Indonesia for offshore installation works for the Jangkrik FPU utilizing the CSV ?Normand Installer?.

Jangkrik FPU is a part of Jangkrik Complex Project, which is operated by Eni Muara Bakau B.V. as contractor to Indonesian upstream oil and gas regulator SKK Migas. Eni holds a 55 percent interest in the project. Other Jangkrik partners are ENGIE (33.3%) and PT Saka Energi Muara Bakau (11.7%). An EPCI contract for the Jangkrik FPU project was awarded to a consortium led by PT Saipem Indonesia and which includes Hyundai Heavy Industries, PT Tripatra Engineers & Constructors and PT Chiyoda International Indonesia.

Solstad said in a statement Friday that in addition to the CSV ?Normand Installer?, SOFF will provide project management, procurement and logistics support to the project through its Marine Projects group in Singapore and Skudeneshavn, Norway.

Execution of the offshore work in Indonesia will start in the second quarter of 2017 and, including transit, the duration for ?Normand Installer? will be about 100 days, Solstad said.
