Soma Power plans hydro power plant in C. Sulawesi

Private firm PT Soma Power Indonesia plans to build a hydropower plant in Tojo Una-Una Regency, Central Sulawesi, Kompas.com reported on Monday.
The portal quoted Soma Power President Director Franky Yason as saying that the company has obtained principal permit from the Central Sulawesi provincial administration, and the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPMD) for the estimated US$300-400 million project.
The report did not say when construction will be started, and completed.
The portal quoted Central Sulawesi Governor Longki Djanggola as welcoming the project in the province, which has peak load of 118 MW capacity, and installed power capacity of 156 MW.(*)
