Source: Santos to farm out Northwest Natuna PSC

Australian firm Santos Limited is planning to farm out its interest in Northwest Natuna PSC, where it serves as operator with a 50 percent interest, according to an industrial source.

When contacted by phone, Djoko Siswanto, Director of the Management of Upstream Activities at the Directorate General of Oil and Gas, was not immediately available on Thursday to comment on the information.

The block includes Ande Ande Lumut (AAL) field, which holds a 101 million barrels of oil reseve (gross 2P Reserves). The Front End Engineering Design (FEED) for the project has been completed and Final Investment Decision (FID) is scheduled to be taken in the second half of the year. Santos? partner in the block is ASX-listed AWE ltd.
