South Kalimantan shows coal in World Expo

The province of South Kalimantan would take part in the current World Expo 2000 in Hanover to show among others the province's coal products.
Head of the province's foreign trade section Subardjo was quoted by Banjarmasin Post as saying on Thursday that the province would join Indonesia's booth at the fair in the first and second weeks of October.
He said coal would be displayed as the main product of the province. Aside from coal, the province will also promote plantation products, which are also the province's main products, and the province's tourism spots.
According to Subardjo, of Indonesia's 26, only 15 have thus far expressed interest in participating in the fair, which started on June 1 and would end on October 13. (*)
