South Korea plans to develop micro hydro power plants in Kerinci

South Korean investors have expressed interest to develop micro hydro power plants in Kerinci Regency, Jambi Province, tribunjambi.com reported Monday.

The news portal quoted Kerinci Vice Regent Zainal Abidin as saying that the local administration has recently signed a MoU with a South Korean trade organization for the planned projects.

He added that the Korean investors are ready to invest a total of Rp 1.5 trillion.

The South Korean investors plan to visit Kerinci in March of this year, Zainal said, but did not provide further details. (*)
